Behold the Porter. It began in the early 1700s when British porters needed a fuel source to get through the workweek. Ironically enough, George Washington would later use it as a morale booster for his field generals—who, in turn, won him the Revolutionary War. Today, with each Dundee Porter you conquer, you embark on a victory of your own. For each sip packs the same big malty flavor, viscosity and rich caramel color that’ll send light beer drinkers running to their proverbial mommas. (And apparently when used properly, the redcoats too.)
